Should I worry about keyword density?
Should I worry about keyword density?
Article
Question: There is no mention of a certain keyword density, for either the primary or secondary words. All Lisa said was to use the keywords once. Is that it - meaning I don't need to use the primary once in the first sentence and then in a certain percent of the article, etc?
Answer: We do not worry about keyword density. We just use the keywords we are trying to optimize the page for in the content one time. You can put them in the headline or subheadings once and then in the content once. That's the most we have ever intentionally tried to optimize for. It reads better this way and is not over-optimized.
