How To Use a DoFollow Blogs Search Engine

August 15th, 2008 | 24 Comments

For those of you who may be new to this blog, you may not know that I have a Dofollow Blogs Search Engine called DoFollow Diver. If you don’t even know what DoFollow is, then read “What Is DoFollow? What Is NoFollow?” to get a better idea. If you don’t quite know how to use a DoFollow Blogs Search Engine, then I will break it down for you, so you can start getting great backlinks from dofollow blogs.

Click here to open up DoFollow Diver in a new tab/window so you can read and follow along.

It’s pretty easy to use. All you need to do is search for a keyword related to your website. (I would pick a keyword rather than a keyphrase because you’ll get more relevant results with just one word…which means more places for you to post a link. Many people have been searching for the term “dofollow blogs” which is a waste, because all of the blogs in DoFollow Diver are dofollow! So if you’ve been one of those who are searching with the keyword “dofollow websites” or “dofollow blogs” then just search for your site’s keyword to get relevant dofollow blogs to comment on.

Once you have searched for your keyword, some results of pages from dofollow sites should show up. Click the link to visit the site, scroll down to the comment section, and leave a comment with your keyword in the “name” section. Be sure to fill in an e-mail and your website address, and a legit comment. I DO NOT SUPPORT SPAM AT ALL. I delete it on my blog if I find it, and I hope the users of DoFollow Diver aren’t spamming other people’s blogs. Take a second to browse the article, and make a useful comment…. It may take a little more time, but the chances that your comment will not be deleted make it well worth the time. If half of your 100 comments are deleted because you just spammed the sites with lame comments, then it’s a total waste of time. If, instead you make a good comment, then you’ll probably get almost all of your comments posted, for the lifetime of the blog, LINKING BACK TO YOUR SITE, INCREASING YOUR SEARCH ENGINE RANKINGS!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments below. Stay tuned… I will be doing a mass quality check of DoFollow Diver, cleaning out those blogs that have turned to nofollow, and I will be adding about 150-200 more dofollow blogs in the very near future!

DoFollow Diver Stats (as of August 15th, 2008):
Approximate number of pages indexed: 671,000
Total queries: 5608
Total queries in July: 2718.

Link Building Digest 1

August 8th, 2008 | 27 Comments

Instead of rewriting what others have said, I decided to put together some links to some great posts written recently by link building masters…

Collin Lahay recently wrote Link Building with Naymz about a good place to add some of your links… it also allows you to add your other online profiles (where you should have links to your site) so by creating a web of links to pages that have links to your sites on them, that means more backlinks, and more chances of your site being crawled by Google.

The folks over at Wiep.net have written a nice little article about what link building really is, and it include some tips to being better than everyone else (which is what the goal of link building is… to be at the top of the SERPs).

Thomas Schmitz wrote Everything You Wanted to Know About Inbound External Links … and there’s a ton of great info there, to reinforce why link building is so important… if you aren’t seeing results from your link building yet, definitely read this, to get re-energized to build backlinks to your site.

Hope these can keep you entertained…. but not distract you too much from actual link building!  Remember, we can all find stuff to keep us occupied to not link build because link building is boring (read RSS feeds, browse news, play video games, check out backlinks, check out analytics account, etc. etc.)  But, link building is more important than all of that!  Set a daily goal and strive to reach that goal for link building!

FREE RC Car Market Research Profile

August 5th, 2008 | 10 Comments

The RC Car niche is full of buyers. You will find that some prospects are information seekers just looking for the coolest new car or gadget, but even these folks will likely buy at some point. It’s a great market for repeat sales as many hobby enthusiasts just keep buying more to add to their collection.

There are a ton of ways to segment the RC car niche. Currently, the remote control niche includes cars and many other vehicle types like helicopters, planes, boats … you name it. It would be much easier to build a site and achieve high rankings in the search engines for one of these segmented lists.

Duplicate Content … Your Thoughts?

July 30th, 2008 | 10 Comments

I know a lot of folks are reading my articles are still wondering if duplicate content is really going to hurt their sites.

Let’s break this down.

Duplicate content IS going to have a negative effect on your sites if you want to rank high in the search engines. You may as well not have bothered to put the page on your site at all because it will likely be filtered out of the regular search results. If your page is filtered out of the regular search results, it’s not going to be seen by surfers and you won’t get free search engine traffic from it.

Link Building Tip: Great backlinks from Searchles.com

July 19th, 2008 | 32 Comments

I have found a great site for link building, in that you can join different groups, and have the articles submitted not only to your profile, but also to each one of the groups.

That site is http://www.searchles.com  It’s a PR 6 dofollow social media site.

For those who didn’t read the Mr Wong article, here’s basically what you do on Searchles:
1)    You join the site.
2)    You join a few different related groups for whatever site you’ll be submitting your blog posts and inner pages from.
3)    If there aren’t any related groups (which is doubtful) but if there aren’t, then create a group yourself!
4)    You submit the article, choosing to send the links to the related groups also.
5)    Now you have multiple backlinks… one on your profile page, and one per group that you joined.
6)    Now, on Mr. Wong, the tag pages had no follow links.  But, on Searchles, the tag pages are dofollow links.  So, you can add 3-4 tags, and have 3-4 groups, and get 7-9 different dofollow links per submission.

Since you are submitting all of the pages and posts from your site, this is building great links to your inner pages, something Google really likes.

So, if you’ve already submitted all of your pages and posts to Mr Wong, now you have a whole new dofollow social media site to submit to!

Also, as an added bonus, there is a fairly active community there in some of the groups, so you’re not only getting related links to your inner pages, but you can also get some good traffic from like-minded individuals who are a part of the groups and paying attention to all of the new posts to the groups.
