Adsense Guild – Interview with Cary Bergeron
Lately I’ve been on the look-out for people doing well through content publishing that seem to have my same core values in mind.
I’m hoping I’ll see much faster increases in my business growth if I start branching out and get a little more ‘connected’ with like minded individuals.
Anyway, the most important value I’ve been looking for is people who are building stable, long term businesses and not just trying to make quick cash online by throwing up sites that offer no real value.
I’ve managed to find a few online entrepreneurs that fit the bill and the most recent is Cary Bergeron.
Cary’s been earning well into the 5-figure mark with Adsense alone.
He’s sold sites on flippa for as much as $80,000.
Although I haven’t gotten all the details from him, from the sounds of it, that just scratches the surface of things.
We agreed to do an interview for all of you and he’s actually organized enough that we had to block out time in between meetings (his meetings, not mine).
I work out of a home office and hire freelancers, not employees, but I think he does the opposite.
So anyway, he’s probably going to pass me up here pretty quick I think, although you never know
I found out about Cary through his Adsense training program called the Adsense Guild (I just want to disclose that this is an affiliate link) when I joined it in November of 2010 (just last year).
Since joining it, he’s already updated the already fantastic training substantially, has a well tended to forum, is offering unique and useful plugins for wordpress, and overall has impressed me completely.
Oh and the best test is that I’ve seen my Adsense income increase directly from what he teaches.
So I wanted to meet him for my own sake and thought you guys would like to hear from him.
I know there are a lot of people earning substantial amounts from Adsense and content publishing in general (especially since I’ve been actively looking for and finding them), but most of them are way under the radar and you’re never going to hear from them.
Most of them have no interest in putting together a training program, like what Cary’s done.
You sent in a lot of great questions for me to ask Cary and I did my best to pry some good content from him.
After speaking with him a couple of times, I’m sure his core values of building a real business from content sites is 100% in-line with what mine are.
So I’m happy to let you know about his Adsense Guild and think if you want to earn money with Adsense you’ll want to consider this program.
He’s growing a great community of people who are serious about earning with Adsense which can be invaluable whether you’re starting out or are already earning. I wish I would have realized that earlier, which is why I’ve been actively seeking out people to connect with now.
So here’s the interview in MP3 format. Download and listen to the Adsense interview here.
If there’s enough interest I might even get it transcribed since it runs over an hour. Either way, it’s well worth your time.
He gives away several ‘golden nuggets’ on earning with Adsense and even certain niches to get into.
Again, you can download and listen to the Adsense interview here.
I’m confident you’ll get a lot out of this and if you decide you want to learn more from Cary check-out his Adsense Guild here (just want to point out that yes, this is an affiliate link).
Thanks!

Thanks for this, Lisa.
I have a few sites that bring in a trickle of money. Adsense isn’t my major business model right now, but I’m always willing to grow that side of my business.
In fact, I think I will one day. But right now, I’ll stick mostly with affiliate and CPA marketing.
Thanks Lisa, for always providing such good content!
I would be very interested in a transcribed version, since English is not my first language…
Thanks for all, and keep up the good work!
Greg
Hi Liza,
Just wanted to thank you for the interview, though I didn’t hear it yet but for sure it will be valuable one because it is from you and more important – done by you…
Will listen after I finish my tax return today…
Hey Lisa,
Thanks for the consistently excellent blog content:)
I have a question in regards to adsense niches. In your experience, do you find informational niches to be better or are product niches where it’s at? I’ve seen some posts on a few private forums as of late where people are complaining that their authority adsense sites in informational niches are getting next to no clicks.
Competition notwithstanding, are there certain niches to stay away from even though they might have great CPC?
Thanks,
Steve
hey Lisa,
Great interview Lots of info. I’m a newbie in the business and haven’t got started yet so I have a few questions.
I understand affiliate marketing in that you go to Amazon or Clickbank, pick a product that is a good one to promote and then build a website to promote that product. With the Adsense Guild, what are you actually doing. What are you promoting and how. Is it a site, a blog or what. If I get one more email promising one button profits or $456,000 a month I’m going to scream.
Very informative, thank you. I’ve been blogging on and off for almost 3 years, but have never had much of a focus – I tend to just write about whatever is on my mind when I feel like writing. This is indeed interesting money making.
Thanks Lisa.
Immediately implemented few tips already from this interview.
Just common sense. That’s all it takes.
Thank you Lisa for doing the interview with Carey. The content was great and very helpful. I took a couple pages of notes. I wasn’t sure about joining the Adsense Guild but after listening to you interview Cary, it was an obvious choice. I joined immediately. Seems like a great investment to me. If you want to succeed I believe you need to associate yourself with those who are successful doing what you want to do. That is why I have hung on to your every word for the last couple of years and it has really paid off. I am truly a Parmley University graduate. Your Inline SEO course got me started, your Truth Files series motivated me to move ahead and your Content Publishing Blackbook took me over the top. The Adsense Guild seems like the next logical step. I trust your judgment and wisdom and thank you for recommending Cary Bergeron and all the guidance you have provided. Thank you. I am very grateful.
Steve – Thanks for the kind words. Not sure what’s going on with the people telling you to stay away from informational niches, ALL my niches are information based. I have no product based sites that I’m earning with. Maybe these people were never earning and might not have things set up right? Not sure what to think of that kind of logic. If it has a high CPC and high volume of traffic with a lot of ads I can’t imagine you won’t earn. Maybe stay away from gambling and other niches that might eventually be banned/go down the tubes
Jay – I can’t blame you there! What you’re doing with this business model is creating a site and putting content on it around a particular market. You want to pick one where there are lots of ads, especially Google Adwords ads. Those are the ads that show up at the top and on the right when you do a search on google. Those ads can potentially show up on your site if you write content related to them.
For example, I was just looking at the ‘water filtration system’ market which seems like it might payout pretty well with Adsense. You could create a whole site around water filtration and the systems people can use. So you’d write content on all this stuff; why it’s a good idea, what types of systems there are, how to get it set up right, etc… Then you put the Adsense code on your site and Google serves up ads related to water filtration. So you’re not selling anything. You get paid when people click on those ads.
I hope that helps…
Lisa
This was a great interview. And you have a very soothing voice Lisa. You should do more audios.
I wish I could get this course but it’s way out of my price range. Unless I want to forget about eating this month. LOL. Regardless, I did pick up a few tips from Cary and I appreciate that.
Thanx Lisa,
I get it. Your explanation is spot on. I’ll give it a do. not a try
Thanx again, Jay
thanks for sharing lisa…….its my first ever visit on this site……good information being shared here..thanks once again.
Great interview Lisa. Well worth sitting through it end-to-end.
Plus, I like those little golden nuggets Cary gave-away
I’ve been over most of the posts in your blog, but can’t seem to find any examples of sites – have you provided any past examples of one of your adsense sites?
Just to get an idea of the how you do things that make it work so well for you.
Hi Lisa,
Very refreshing to read your posts! I took the plunge and signed up with the Adsense Guild (thru your aff link natch!) … and what a no-nonsense community, sincere, honest, genuinely helpful. Can’t thank you enough..when I make some $ I will invest next in your InlineSeo..been putting that off WAY too long (did buy Content Publishing, though..geat book!) Your fan in Honolulu, Tom
Dear Lisa,
I just found your blog and I love it. I am a new entrepreneur myself and your information is extremely helpful. I myself started out with an online hammock business but I love the idea of having just an information website generating income with ad-sense. I haven’t used ad-sense as of yet but I think it is in my near future. Thanks again.
Ashley
