Thanks and Something New…
I really want to thank all of you who read my posts and make comments on my blog. It’s been really nice to hear all the encouragement. It’s the last day of the month and I’m excited to share with you that I actually did make it to the $15,000 a month mark with the new network of sites in Jan.
It was barely over $15K, but it was exciting to make that goal. I guess it took me just slightly over a year to get there, which is not too bad. I learned a lot and well, even started thinking about a new challenge for myself in the future.
It’ll take me a little while to put up an official post about reaching the $15K month, and I think I might even want to see what happens in Feb before I call the case study closed (it could always take a couple of months to level off and it might even dip down a little especially since Feb is a short month).
So anyway, I’m writing to let you know that I’m currently putting the finishing touches on a report covering exactly what I’m doing to earn money from content publishing. With all the comments I keep getting and an interview I did a couple of weeks ago I just got really motivated to put something together for you.
I’ve gotten so many folks asking how exactly I’m doing this it just seemed like I could be of some help if I put this together.
It’s funny, but I think because of all of you, the report kind of wrote itself. It’s over 100 pages and took me just under 2 weeks to write. In a way, it’s probably good to get all that out of my system!
So anyway, it’s something I put together in PDF format and although I will be selling it, I don’t want to make the price too high. I’m planning on offering it for under $30 (at least at first).
It goes over my model of content publishing and so far the emphasis focuses on going from zero to $1,000 a month. I think to start that’s all I’m going to do because so many people get hung up on the first steps and gaining momentum.
It sounds like many of you can use this information right now so I want to get this report done before I get too carried away with all the other things I could add to it.
I’ll try to get it finished this week or next and will be sending out more information to you once it becomes available.

I bought your course InlineSEO and I’m currently implementing it, to the letter.

I just lost my day-job on late December 2010 but I’m working hard to launch my own business.
I do my best to walk in your footsteps.
I bought your course when I read on your ’sales letter’ that achieving results with SEO is definitely possible, but requires WORK!
Since I read the word ‘work’, I thought: Finally!!! Someone in the IM industry that talk about work, that don’t try to dissimulate it!
Since this girl (sorry if it’s too familiar) talks about work, then its course might be worth buying!
I started IM in general and Affiliate Marketing in particular a few months ago, with great success and great failures.
But you’re the only person in this field that I really trust.
I completely agree with your vision of what this ‘Make Money Online’ thing should be.
A real business, with its downsides, but made to last long.
This $1000/month barrier is exactly what I’m aiming to break right now. I have no doubt your report could greatly help me achieving this goal.

Hi LarryFine, It’s got a little overlap, but it’s different. The SEO course can be used by anyone with any type of online business model to get traffic to their sites through SEO. This report is all about content publishing. My mindset, mistakes I’ve made, the basic steps and pitfalls to earning from sites, etc…
I really go through market research and planning a lot. It sounds pretty basic, but since not that many people are earning $1,000 a month with this business model there must be stuff they’re missing. I’ve tried to cover all the angles and give them a loose plan along with what’s worked for me so I think if you’re not earning from this business model, but would like to, this will help.

We have one, but it’s closed door right now. It’s been hard managing affiliates and well I get a lot of flap about how I need to make the sales letter more hypey and stuff that I’m not going to do

Yeah, it was a lot. I know it was much less than what I’ve earned, but especially once I started doing really well (like having an extra 10K a month), it became easier to spend as much as several thousand a month on content and outsourcing (for all my sites combined, not just this network). I was only able to do that a couple of times though because managing that many outsourcers was overwhelming and spending that much money was kind of well … I can admit it … a little on the frightening side.
But there’s definitely an advantage to earning a lot and having some success behind you. When you’re first starting out you don’t have that kind of money (and if you do, you should not invest it like crazy because you’re still learning and I’d hate to see you lose $ like that).
You can definitely do this without any money, I know that for sure as I started that way, but once you start earning if you’re willing to put it back in, you can really make giant leaps. So no big vacation plans here to celebrate, we’re just working hard to keep increasing it because the return on investment is massive. Imagine if you spent $10,000 and after 6 months it turned into even just $50,000 a year from ad revenues (which is very possible) for the next couple of years? Can you part with that kind of money if you know you’ll see that type of ROI? Some people can’t do it no matter what, and I get that, it’s a little uncomfortable and seems like a risk. But you’ve got to get a handle on this stuff and start small before something like this is doable. But once it is, I’m seeing it is possible to scale it up like that.

Great to hear that you will be in essence creating a step by step process showing us how you have achieved and how we can copy your not insignificant achievement of $15K a month.
For a lot of us, (by all accounts, the majority) while the $15K seems a great accomplishment, I’m sure more store will be held in actually working out, copying and actually achieving and overcoming the $1000 a month roadblock.
I’d be very happy to provide a genuine review of your report and follow through on the steps required. Additionally, I’ll provide a progress report of activity and accomplishment every quarter for the next 12 months. Realistically, if I achieve only 20% of what you have I’ll be very happy, 50% and I’ll be ecstatic – any more than that you can only imagine.

It is great to hear from you. I just got your course and working on module I. Last year I bought some other courses and built 4 sites didn´t make money for affiliate, just some dollars from Adsense. I couldn´t afford to buy your course last june first time I read your blog comments. This january and after serious thinking I invested on it.

Can’t wait to see this report. I love the concept of passive income from content publishing, but I tend to get too hung up on specifics like where to place ads to get a maximum CTR and even silly things like what theme is best.
I was scanning the comments and did I read correctly that you may have an affiliate program? I’ve actually been promoting you on a couple of my blogs already simply for the fact that you give out quality, no-hype information. Would love to apply as an affiliate if possible.

You are a great source of motivation to me. I have bought your course 7 months ago as I was starting with SEO, and it has really helped me understand a lot and also achieve results in terms of traffic.
In my country we say that “experience is the best teacher”, and over the past few months it has proven to be so true for me. You can have the best course in the world, you still need to take action and then go through testing, and some kind of trial and error process. You need to make mistakes.
I have also understood that we have some psychological barriers that act as inhibitors. And this is also in my opinion a cause of failure for many people. Many people do not authorize themselves unconsciously to make $1000, $2000 or whatever per month ALTHOUGH they have the strongest conscious desire to make it. You have talked about it in your last blog post (your 10K a month barrier with a site) so I’m sure you know what I mean.
I’m looking forward to reading your next report and I’m sure I’ll get a lot out of it, as usual.
