DoFollow Diver – DoFollow Blog Search Engine

September 11th, 2008 | 23 Comments

DoFollow DiverI just want to let you know that we have completed the transfer of DoFollow Diver from it’s previous location on www.linkbuildingbible.com. You may find DoFollow Diver at http://www.inlineseo.com/dofollowdiver

If you happen to go to the old url, you should be redirected to its new page. So it’s fully transferred.

I plan to do my best to keep it updated so it is still a valuable resource for you. I’ve also considered the idea of adding a DoFollow Forums category to it.

If you don’t mind, please take a minute to let me know your thoughts on this by commenting to this thread. If there’s enough interest, then I’ll try to get that set up once the transfer of the linkbuildingbible.com blog is complete.

And if you’ve never heard of DoFollow Diver, please read on …

We are in an age when your search engine ranking can be life or death for your online business. With backlinks to your site as a major way to help increase your search engine rankings, finding those backlinks has become a business in and of itself. The regular small business owner and blogger need a way to be able to find those backlinks too.

DoFollow Diver was started in April of 2008. It’s a tool created to help webmasters, of sites big and small, to be able to find ways to build more backlinks. DoFollow Diver, a search engine created to find blogs that are “dofollow,” allows you to search for blogs that you can comment on which give a link back to your site. “Dofollow” links don’t technically exist, rather, it is an expression meaning the opposite of “nofollow,” part of the relation tag of the HTML link markup. If a link does not have “nofollow” it is considered a “dofollow” link which passes authority from the site it’s on to the site the link is pointing to. (For more on dofollow and nofollow, check out: What is DoFollow? What is NoFollow?

Although the DoFollow Diver is not the first tool of its kind, it goes above and beyond the competition. While its competition is just surfing the web for dofollow blogs, DoFollow Diver dives into the web, looking for blogs that not only have dofollow comment links, but also contain Wordpress plugins that allow for even more authority and backlinks to be created. DoFollow Diver organizes your results by general “dofollow” links, ones with the plugin CommentLuv, (which grabs your most recent blog post and puts it as a link in the comment) and the Top Commenter’s plugin, (which gives a site-wide link on the blog to the top commenters on the blog).

By diving deeper than the competition, DoFollow Diver finds even more opportunities for webmasters to create links back to their site, and as a result, getting high search engine rankings, and ultimately, more traffic and sales.

All you need to do is search for a keyword related to your site, and every single result will be a dofollow blog. If, for some reason, the blog is no longer dofollow, it’s easy to use the submission forms to report sites that are no longer dofollow blogs.

Exactly what i was looking for , this is second site i found , hope it actually works … the first was a program finder which only shows me nofollow links, probably because site owners spam and are too greedy for the links all you see is non relevant comments with their site names on them..

  4. This is great. Will definately come in handy in establishing back links. Thanks.

One key trick I use while searching for DoFollow blogs is Firefox with the SeoQuake module. It quickly tells me whether links are nofollow or not – by merely striking through any nofollow links. An instant read on PR as well as totals for incoming and outgoing links really helps.

I’m always looking for better resources to find links for my site, and this is one I’ll be bookmarking and playing with! Thanks…

Dear Lisa, you made it easy for me as i was searching for some tool how to find do follow blogs because I have been given a task to find some nice do follow blogs. So i am about to check if it really benefits me.

  14. I’m using seoquake as well as google toolbar. It really helps to determine which link is no follow, what pr has each site and so on. Google toolbar helps to quickly search as well.

  15. I use the Dofollow Firefox addon as well as other tools like SEO Quake. But I just saw Ben Holmes’ post and I didn’t realise SEO quake did that anyway!

However, going to the right places in the first place is a much more productive way of working. Thanks for the links.

  16. Thanks for the informative post. I will have to check the do driver out. Ive been checking links painstakingly by using GWT’s and right clicking for source code. Diver sounds like it could save me alot of time. Thank you.

  17. Eric says:

    Really useful..Thanks a lot.
    Keep updating.

  19. Thanks for the informative posting. Ive been searching this by hand and Do Follow Diver sounds like a promising tool to help with my work load.

  20. This Do Follow Diver may be a great resource. Doing this manually is a pain in the neck and extremely time consuming. This should cut my search time down by half and leave me time for more important tasks. Thanks for blogging.

  21. Ali says:

    Thanks

  22. I had never heard of this DoFollow Diver, but once I used it the results are great. Makes it so much easier to find dofollow blogs without going searching through so many sites. Just needs a bigger database of sites to make the ultimate backlink tool.

  23. seo4top-com says:

Thanks for this great tool and also for “dofollow”. If everyone sets his Blog or Website to “nofollow” the major idea of the Internet would be death.
