Good post, most of this stuff are indeed the basics but you tend to forget them..
I was thinking about the anchor text, you can only influence that by creating a good title and perfect post about the subject.. Bloggers who use you as a refference sometimes choose the wrong anchor text..

You said it in your post above. Many people find link building boring and would rather be doing something else. I would rather be making $10k per hour like Tiger Woods…but I guess I don’t have his talent. I’m learning more and more about link building and your info above is most useful to find more. Thanks

The question I’m asked most often is Parking. If I’ve got knuttbutter.com showing the same exact content as knuttbutter.net, do I get hit for duplicate content? Should I be doing a redirect instead?

They’d be pointed at the same folder, causing them to show the same thing but I’m not sure Google would know I own both. Or how they would handle it.
