I also like your technique of dofollow driver url. I am reading so many blogs but this dofollow driver url I have never been to such pages. Now onwards I wil follow this technique only. I've been always used a link to my website's main page when builing links. I should think about deep links too. I'm also submitting my website to directories. The directories accept only a link to the home page, they don't allow deep links. As to the keywords, I completely agree one should vary them.
