Free Backlink Generator and Linking To Your Backlinks
Yesterday, I briefly touched on the importance of linking to sites with your backlinks on it. Today, I am going to show you a tool that you can use that generates a nice quick list of backlinks to a few sites that have “dofollow” (What is dofollow?) backlinks to your site.
To generate this list, you first need to go to:
Free Backlink Generator
Then, scroll down the page a little bit, and enter your website parts into their specific sections. (Note: If your website doesn’t use www such as http://inlineseo.com then just delete the www part.) Then, click “Get Free Backlinks.”
Then, go on your blog or website, and post the HTML code that the tool generated into a post or page. It will look like this:
Each of those pages has a “dofollow” link back to your site.
Although this tool really doesn’t generate backlinks (since they already exist on the internet), it does allow you to put those links on your page which accomplishes 2 things:
1) Allows Google (and other search engines) to find those pages and count those pages as a backlink for your site.
2) It passes some link juice from your site to those sites, and in turn, those sites are passing link juice to you.
This isn’t going to hugely affect your search engine rankings, nor is it some magic tool. But, it is a nice reference tool, and useful in allowing the search engines to find your backlinks easier. This shouldn’t be your only link building tool, but it should be a part of your larger link building campaigns.

Another idea along the same lines as this (linking out to juice up your backlinks) is if you are a blogger, leave comments on other blogs pointing to a particular post on your blog (rather than the home page) and then link to those posts in future posts in your own blog.

I’m much harsher when judging the commenters who come to my blog via dofollow blog lists. If their posts are at all possibly spammy, they’re gone.
This tip seems like you are just giving a reciprical link to a site that did not ask for one from you. I am a bit confused by it, why give a reciprical and loose juice from a link pointed at your site?

I was running an authority site search on a few keywords and found a high percentage with links from this site. You just search for your domain and then link to the page that comes up.

Now this is an innovative way of getting some backlinks – I’ve never thought of those stat checkers as being viable options for getting links. Pretty crafty, LBB! Doesn’t seem like they’d be worth much, but I suppose every little bit helps.

The “About Us Wiki” seems to be a nofollow now

Another nice tool for link building that I have been working on is:

You get search results with information on whether or not the results have the nofollow tag. It makes it very quick to find do follow sites with relevant content.

It’s a good idea. But I’d be a bit careful as it could be construed as spam. Have you tried this idea?

Another plus to Aussie SEO’s idea about “deep linking” to a specific post on your blog rather than the home page is that you can often direct visitors to a blog that’s directly and/or specifically related to the topic in which you’re commenting.
And you can – I’d say SHOULD – “deep link” back to your own older posts from within newer posts. This gives the search engines another path to dig into, but more importantly, it prompts your readers to explore your older posts even more.
“Deep Linking” is an excellent way to shine a little new light on an older post that never quite seemed to get its due share of exposure. Y’know sometimes the blog entries that you’re most proud of are the ones that can seem to go by unnoticed…
And lastly, I’d argue that it can sometimes be legit to edit an older post to provide an additional link forward from it to a newer, related entry. I’m not talking about doing a George Lucas-style overhaul, just a minor tweak. I haven’t done this often, but on most of the posts where I’ve done this, I’ve indicated it with a little red “Update” notation, so it’s more apparent.
If you contribute to the blog, then they won’t think it is spam. If you write “Awesome! Thanks” and be done with it, then yah, they’ll think you’re just trying to get a backlink.
A valid point. I’ve been trying to find high PR blogs that use dofollow. But can’t locate many. If anyone could produce a list it would be greatly appreciated!!!
Hopefully this blog will get a good PR in the next update too. It seems to get high traffic.

Anyone who produced a list would be blacklisted in the blog community… haha… that would just drive tons of spammers to the sites, and then they’d probably turns their comments into “nofollow” and there goes all of your current link building opportunities, and all of your former link building time you spent on that site.
Most of the link pages are unlikely to be indexed.
If you point a link at them then the chances of it getting indexed by search engines increase.
You can point to these pages from any site. No necessarily the one that you want the link pointing at.

Google wouldn’t think this is spam. The name is misleading because it doesn’t actually GENERATE backlinks. These backlinks have already existed, what you’re doing is creating a nice, little list of them, and posting them somewhere on the web. That way, you’re building backlinks to the pages that have links to you. As Jon C. said, the pages probably aren’t indexed. But with links pointing to them, they have a better chance of being indexed, and therefore counting as a backlink for you.
It’s not just creating links out of nowhere.
Similar to a D-list….. but what they were requesting was a list of blogs with dofollow who also have high PR. Many of the top D-lists out there, aren’t well maintained, and many blog owners on the lists, have changed to nofollow because of the large amount of spam they received.
